Muclemass is important. Thats why i like to lift weights. But i cant lift, when i live on 200-500 calories several days.
Its a very bad habit, that i binge after some time with a low amount of energy in my body. So when i can feel i about to loose it, i give myself one day to get high, and then binge. (Smoking makes your <3 beat faster. )
And the next day, i lift weights :-)
Also i drink a protein shake after workout. You should drink it, within 20 minutes.
